Outstanding Student Presentation Award

The Award aims to recognize PhD students’ efforts in presenting regular papers at ETS2025. A shortlist of top-quality regular papers with a PhD student as the first author and presenter will be considered for the Award. The shortlist will be compiled by the Student Activities Chairs and announced in advance. A jury composed of four members from academia and industry will evaluate the presentations’ quality during the Symposium, and the winner will be announced during the Closing Session of ETS2025.

The evaluation metrics are:

• A poster presentation at the PhD Forum and a short presentation in a dedicated slot during ETS 2025
• Quality of presentation slides
• Clarity of the motivation
• Clarity of the contribution
• Clarity of the methodology and results
• Time management
• Q&A management
• Creativity
